Registered EPDs: Amorim Isolamentos, S.A.!

Amorim Cork Insulation (Amorim Isolamentos) is part of Corticeira Amorim and has a solid position in the world market, resulting from a strict commitment to comply with the quality and demand standards required, above all, by the sustainable construction sector.

In order to achieve total certification and quality, Amorim Cork Insulation is a company that seeks high levels of quality and productivity, where the protection of the environment and the preservation of natural resources are a constant, clearly demonstrating its position in the face of community in which it operates.

Among the various products produced, we highlight the Expanded Cork Granules and Expanded Insulation Corkboard Cork Agglomerate (ICB), as they are those that have a Type III Environmental Product Declaration registered in the DAPHabitat System. Both EPDs are “cradle-to-gate” type valid until the next October (2021). In these documents you will find details about the Life Cycle Analysis of these products, as well as their environmental performance during the product phase.
