DAPHabitat System Renews International Recognition from ECO Platform

The Portuguese Product Environmental Declarations registration system, DAPHabitat System, has reached a new milestone of excellence by having its international recognition by the ECO Platform officially renewed, following an audit and validation process approved by the ECO Platform Board of Directors.

This renewal consolidates the program as one of the benchmark operators in the European arena and reinforces its commitment to transparency and sustainability across the Habitat value chain.

This achievement reflects the technical work of all DAPHabitat members, distinguished by adherence to European standards for harmonizing environmental data. The program’s leadership position is strengthened through strategic collaboration with CERTIF, via an independent verification process that ensures each declaration meets high-quality standards, granting the declared products and services technical credibility in the global market.

By holding the Established ECO EPD Programme Operator certificate, DAPHabitat provides manufacturers and stakeholders in the Habitat value chain with privileged access to international markets. Environmental declarations issued under the ECO EPD brand enjoy full acceptance throughout Europe, enhancing the competitiveness of Portuguese companies while addressing growing demands for decarbonization, circular economy practices, and ESG reporting.
